The Three Questions Couples Should Ask Before Moving in Together
Contemplating the decision to cohabitate with your partner is an important step in the progression of a relationship. To ensure a successful transition, it is
The first step is to book a free 15-minute consultation call.
In this call I’ll ask you some questions and you can get a feel for how I work. We’ll decide if I’m the best fit for you, if not I’ll give you some ideas of what some good options for you might be.
If we decide to work together, we’ll book an “intake” session. Before our first session, you’ll have some paperwork to review and fill out.
Therapy is by far the most effective when conducted on a weekly basis. I’ve found that people who commit to weekly sessions for the duration of our work together make the deepest and swiftest progress.

No, I do not work with children and typically only work with adults over 21.
Your privacy is not only protected by law, it is also a priority of mine. I cannot and will not share treatment information or acknowledge a relationship of any kind between us without your written consent. There are a few exceptions to this such as instances of your and others’ safety and the abuse of children or elders as well as rare legal situations where I may be required to share your information with appropriate authorities.

I currently reside in central Illinois and lived in Oakland, California for about twenty years though 2021.
Because licensure is on a state-by-state basis, I am only able to work with clients who are physically located in California and Illinois.
I can not provide any advice, opinion, resources, or consultation outside of a therapeutic relationship part of which is a signed written agreement between us. It is unethical for me to give advice or opinions outside of a clinical relationship. I do not respond to inquires of this nature for this reason. If you are in need of support I highly recommend PFLAG, Gender Spectrum, and NAMI.
